Mayhem of March

Greetings, dear listeners of the realm,
Your humble scribe returns yet again, as there has been much change in the month of March. I understand that I have been missed, based on observations I’ve made in the global chat, but do understand – these articles take time to write as I’ve reverted back to the simpler ways and have ousted my former A.I helper.
The Eagle Tournament Results
I’m a bit late on this, but, the Spring Tournament, notably the Eagle Tournament has come to a close. In the first-place position is the alliance SMA with 460 days 7 hrs 42 mins total occupied time. Second is SkB with 412 days 21 hrs 3 mins total occupied time. Third place is YARR! with 354 days 4 hrs 7 mins occupied time. Fourth through Tenth are as follows, respectively – Roads, TDF, CLAN, DLord, H?, Laugh, and Ridle. Congratulations to all! For further placings, please click the link below … Tournaments
The Demon Invasion Tournament
Sheogorath, leader of the Chaos alliance, has his own tournament, the Demon Invasion Tournament. It is currently underway. This is a player-ran tournament but with GREAT prizes agreed to by the DEV team that includes special military units. So far the player with the best kill/death ratio is Exile. Good luck to all participating!
The Rise of BRUTE
In the middle of the month of March there was a shake-up in the TDF alliance. What exactly caused it, this writer does not know… however speculation is that certain players left the alliance due to rumors that had been spread about a leader of the alliance, from another large alliance leader. Without going into too much detail, I’d like to push those curious to a previous article that was written about the same parties (https://illyquill.blog/vol-xxvi-talons-and-tensions/).
As multiple players left TDF due to the drama, including the leader Tucic, a new alliance was formed. Unleash the Bastards, or BRUTE (https://elgea.illyriad.co.uk/#/Alliance/Alliance/2617) was founded by Stukahh. While the goals of the new alliance are unknown, it does warrant a close observation. There are quite a few “militarily minded” players in the ranks. Some of them came from TDF, some did not.
Tucic did later return to TDF, and all seems well from the outside. Tucic, if you’d like to reach out to this humble scribe to give your version of the events – I’d be happy to interview you discretely.
The Devourers
Quite a few new faces have joined us in the realm lately. Folks coming over from Stronghold Kingdoms – notably “the devourers.” I personally would like to extend a heart-felt welcome to them. Now, start some trouble! 😘
In Closing
