Vol XXII:— Whispers & Warnings
Dated: 10 December 2025
Greetings, Dear Listeners
The realm stirs with rumors thick as fog, and I bring you what I have managed to pry loose from the darkness. Yet I can feel it—there is more. More hidden. More brewing. If you carry knowledge the realm should hear, whisper it to me. Do not let your secrets rot unspoken.
A Received Whisper
“Here is an early look at the lore chronicle image for the impending Demon Invasion Tournament. More information comes out on Clavicus Vile’s Summoning Day. The implications aren’t entirely off-base—though let’s be honest, it’s unlikely to ever align neatly with Illy’s official lore unless the Devs get creatively playful. They are coming… and you may have the first reveal.”
I have deciphered that the aforementioned summoning day is the First of Morning Star, in the realm of Tamriel. Thus, that equates to the first of January, in our realm. Whatever this becomes—or fails to become—the air is getting heavier, and the players who pay attention can feel it.
Trivia Troubles
Eowan has won trivia yet again, this time from an account they allegedly plan to abandon. Naturally, this has stirred up the age-old Illyrian debate: should players who aren’t sticking around be allowed to scoop up prizes meant for the realm’s active inhabitants?
Whispers suggest a growing push for a rule against this practice. But given that the event’s gracious host, House Fenring, proudly sails under the YARR! banner—once Eowan’s own home—some players are raising the inevitable eyebrow. A bit of favoritism? Ghosts of loyalty past? Or simply the realm’s resident prodigy flexing once more? Hard to say… but the realm is buzzing.
Fleet Movements in YARR!
Speaking of YARR!—it seems DREDD has joined the grand fleet. That’s a new wrinkle worth watching. Whether it’s temporary convenience, a deeper alliance, or something more shadowed, time will tell. But ships don’t gather without purpose, and this particular addition will be interesting to track.
A Discord Quake
And speaking of discourse—Discord itself shuddered this week when Thorfinn dropped a line that sent the room into a stunned, blinking silence. In response to Eowan’s antics, he remarked:
“I won’t do anything, thank you… but I might make Remy and YARR no longer exist.”
Subtle? No.
Consequential? Potentially.
Whether this was dry humor, a pointed jab, or an omen of some delightfully chaotic Thorfinnian scheming, none can say for certain. But the realm took notice. Threat, promise, or prophecy, the weight of those words now hangs over YARR—and over Remy, who somehow manages to be at the center of every storm even when he swears he’s innocent.
Whatever Thorfinn meant, the realm will be watching. Closely.
Audrey: Still Awake, Still Silent
In Audrey news:
Still no second visit from the old crone.
Still no message on the full moon.
Yet Audrey remains very much awake.
Thorfinn’s most recent forum musings add more fuel to the speculation fire:
“In the discord I had a massive conversation how it could lean to… waking her up + a decent amount fed to the heart and then the feeding of the temples weakens her. The temples appear for a reason, I would very much doubt only to gain tentacles. Surely when they appear, they’re apart of the next stage otherwise why do they not appear first for people to get tentacles and take part ?”
Cryptic, as always—but those following the quest know better than to dismiss Thorfinn’s intuition. Since the temples are emerging after the heart feeding, then the pattern may be more deliberate than players first assumed. The next stage might already be unfolding beneath our feet.
Closing Thoughts
For now, dear listeners, these are the secrets I can share. I know more are out there—hidden, guarded, waiting for the right ears. If you hold one, do not hesitate. Whisper it to me, and together we’ll pull the truth into the light. Until next time.
Stay whispered, my friends.
