Firstly — The Bans Continue
An update to last week’s bans, as mentioned by GM Duran in the forums – A little birdie has told me that Garavi has been confirmed as a multi-account. The alts have been banned, though the main account remains untouched. Among the fallen were:
ID: 394064 – Old: jaca
ID: 425226 – Old: zuzu
ID: 438773 – Old: dodo
ID: 439152 – Old: dudu
This reporter can confirm that the account of Garavi still appears active, and those other names now lead to nowhere.
History Repeating (and Finally Recorded)
A whisperer this week asked if I could update my Notable History section with a proper rundown of Illy’s past feuds and famous battles. And believe me — I want to. Greatly. But just keeping up with these weekly updates takes more of my already rare free time than I’d like to admit.
However! A wonderful development has emerged — the Chronology of Illyriad 2010–2025 is now live, read about it on the Forum and this is the official page.
As GM Jejune mentioned:
“If you have something to add to the wars that you see in the chronology, don’t wait for the individual entry to get published before you reach out! It’s much better if we receive your information and perspective before we publish… Contact GM Jejune sooner rather than later so that we can have your voice represented.”
Now, that’s for the official record.
But if you have something you don’t want etched there — like who said what, who started it, or which alliances were stirring the pot — that’s what I’m here for. I’ll happily spread those whispers.
With this development, I’m thinking of shifting my Notable History page to feature personal accounts of past wars — those raw recollections from the players who actually lived them. If you send one in, I’ll keep your name out of it, of course. Just let me note which alliance’s perspective it’s from — context matters, after all.

Some wonder if they’ve been among us all along, quietly under new names. Until we hear from the source — and knowing Eo, that may never happen — all we have is speculation.
November Tourney Whispers
The November Tournament will be your standard King of the Hill — no dragons this round.
Players have already begun tossing around ideas in the Official Illyriad Discord about what they’d like to see in future tourneys, and we know the GMs do listen. Maybe next time they’ll shake things up with new prizes or formats. Time will tell what changes us Illyrians will see next.
