Vol XIX: – Whispers and Wonders
Dated: 5 November 2025
This Morning’s Whisper and a Quandary
From the whispers this morning:
“In preparation for the Audrey quest, multiple complaints have been posted in GC and on the forums about the Fortune Teller potentially being bugged. So far, nothing but silence from the GMs.”
I would hardly call it silence. I have personally seen the GMs request that a ticket be submitted via the Illyriad Support Portal, both in GC and on the official Discord server.
However, the lack of any further acknowledgment beyond “submit a ticket” leaves one to wonder—will the quest even work? Or are we all sending for naught? Illyrians wait, ever hopeful, watching the Fortune Teller’s tent for a flicker of life.
Farewell, Captain
CaptainKindly has abandoned.
No definitive reason has been given to this writer—only whispers and speculation. The most common belief is simple apathy, a weariness after more than a decade of service to the realm. There was no grand farewell, no bitter parting shot—only quiet departure.
Fair winds, Captain. May your sails find new horizons.
Movements in the Night
At 21:45 server time, reports began to surface of over 23 million troops moving across Elgea. Whether these forces are marching for the tournament, or for the long-awaited Audrey quest, remains uncertain.
The map glows with the trails of armies—some bound for glory, some for mystery, and perhaps some for sacrifice.
To quote the late Audrey I, whose words echo hauntingly through Illyriad’s history:
“It’s the one gift I can give you. And if I’m in the plant, then I am part of the plant—so in a way… we’ll always be together.”
May the fallen find their roots entwined within the heart of the realm itself.

Stay whispered, my friends.
