“You posted something a few issues ago about Yuki sending in a tip – but then said you can’t share what that tip is. I enjoy the quilly (a lot), but why even post that?
Fairly frustrating to see you dangling a carrot then saying “but I can’t say anything” because the most infamous cheater in Illyriad history requested it. If you are not giving any info or context, there is no need to post that you have rumors you can’t share – it serves no purpose other than to discredit the quilly as (I believe) the purpose of this blog is for you to bring secrets to light, not loudly proclaim you are keeping secrets in the dark.
I’d love it if you did a dive into multi’s and multi allegations. If you don’t have an alt- it would be interesting to have a “Quilly Reporter” account pop into the game asking questions to alliances like Dredd over Ryu and the multi and bot allegations. Or Vortx over the “pickle” in north Elgea.”
Firstly, I’d like to thank you for reaching out to this humble scribe, truly. Secondly, I am glad you asked!
My reasoning for posting what Yuki sent was to say that she is, in fact, watching the realm. She possibly still has residence within the bounds of Illyria. However, I did not divulge what she said because it is literally just copy/pasted text that could have been from anywhere. I did, however, let the powers-that-be know what was said and her claims are being investigated to see if they are accurate. I know of her history, and I decided to take what she reported with a grain of salt, and not to spread the details if they were just something made up to be vindictive. That’s not what the Quilly’s purpose is; I aim to bring light to actual secrets, even though a lot are just rumors. I decided to not spread hers directly, as they may be poison for the realm.
To your second point – Sadly, I do already have an alt that has had a decent amount of time invested in Illyriad. However, I am working with the DEV team to get an account on the official Forum, as I keep having technical issues when trying to make an account there for the IllyQuill. I hope to have a way to ask players direct questions, either via message or a forum post, to get down to the nitty-gritty of certain allegations.
As always, I am appreciative of EVERY single person who gives input, even if the input is Freyja’s stating “ew, the quilly… that thing is so crappy,” [I see you, and I want you to know that I have been trying to shed awareness on your Audrey journey, even if this medium is “so crappy,” as you have affectionately put it. No hard feelings.]
The IllyQuill is a work in progress, and does take the player base input into consideration. After all, I do this for all of you.
