A Tribute to the Illyriad Times
Before there was the Quill, there was the Illyriad Times (https://illyriadtimes.wordpress.com/) — the community’s first great databases of records. The Times captured the pulse of the realm, turning battles, politics, and everyday gossip into a living chronicle.
The Illyriad Times set the standard for player-driven journalism in the game, and the IllyQuill exists very much in its shadow — an homage to the wit, creativity, and dedication of those who wrote before.
Here at the Quill, I’m aiming to carry that torch forward: compiling the records of wars, the dramas that shook alliances, the obituaries of fallen leaders, and the tales that shaped our shared history. All of these will have a special place on this site, so that none of Illyriad’s stories are lost to time.
As this is work-in-progress, please be patient. There is a plethora of information on the Illyriad Times site, and I am but a humble scribe.
If you’d like to see something that has not been added, please do not hesitate to reach out! The “Quilly” is here for all citizens of Illyria, and does aim to please.
